Client Media Coverage: g2 Organics Odorless Nail Polish Remover

Dealing with beauty editors and bloggers can sometimes be tough, in that they are exposed to so many products it is often difficult bring them something new and exciting.

I have been working with my client g2 Organics and they have some great natural, eco-friendly beauty products, one of them being the Odorless Nail Polish Remover. I pitched the product to the editors and many were sceptical at first...until they received their sample and realized that in fact, the nail polish remover was indeed odorless!!

We have received some great reviews on the product, so thank you bloggers for such great write ups. You can click on the images below to enlarge the image or check them out directly at Gouldylox Reviews and Beauty Logic.

Gemma Kahng and Swarovski: The Goddess Adorned" Project

My client, fashion designer Gemma Kahng, was chosen by Swarovski to create a vase using materials from their Swarovski Crystallized Concept Store in Soho. The vase will will be auctioned off and all proceeds will benefit Housing Works

The event invitation

Yesterday I attended the launch event in NYC, which unveiled the designs. Designers and celebrities such as; Doo-Ri, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen for Elizabeth and James and Kenneth Jay Lane all showed off the creations adorned with Swarovski Elements.

The concept behind Gemma's vase (below) was armor! As Gemma explained; "I am making an armor for the vase. It's ceremonial for celebrating 'peace'".

Client Media Coverage: Bob Mackie in Interview Magazine

This week the Interview magazine's Dec/Jan 2011 issue hit shelves. We had been working with the Fashion Director at the magazine for this editorial shoot and he requested a selection of Bob Mackie's iconic limited edition Barbie's!

For those of you that don't know, Bob started working with Mattel 21 years ago, producing the first ever limited edition Barbie - basically pioneering the collectors category. As you can see, in the editorial below, there are now dolls created by designers such as Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Vera Wang and Burberry!

Anyway, check out the editorial below (click on the images to enlarge), it's so cool. Each Barbie compliments the clutches they are modeling. Two Bob Mackie dolls are featured - the Cher Barbie is totally working the Emilio Pucci clutch and the Circus Barbie looks ravishing on top of her Bulgari evening bag. A super cute shoot!
